One of our week’s special was a Mediterranean dressing made with reduced pomegranate molasses, olive oil and sumac. Originally used as a dressing for fatoush salad, it’s a versatile drizzle on all kinds of vegetables – from a simple tomato, onion, cucumber salad to a fancier goat’s cheese, olives and nuts salads, or on steamed vegetables and even as a marinade for chicken.
How to use:
- Use it as marinade for meat or fish
- Makes an excellent sauce for grilled chicken
- Drizzle over your fried eggs
- Dipping sauce for your fish fingers or chicken nuggets
- keeps fresh in the the refrigerator for a week from the day of picking up
